Perth City Farm is a non-profit community urban farm that harnesses the power of nature and community connection, bringing people together to learn about sustainable living.
The Farm is designed to deliver sustainability education both through formal programs, and passively to the 160,000 people moving through the space annually. Our formal education offerings include tours for school groups, adult workshops and corporate team building, teaching ‘kinder living’ skills like permaculture, food growing, fermenting, foraging, gardening for wildlife and recycled crafts to thousands of people each year.
Through our City Greening enterprise we design, install and maintain sustainable landscapes through Perth, including a rooftop food garden, urban orchard and wetlands space.
Our other key program is Sustainable Events. We run a weekly farmers market, quarterly sustainability forums and seasonal festivals. About forty other non-profits deliver their community programming from our site through the year, and around 150 private events occur.
